Council meets on the second Tuesday of every month and the public is always welcome.  We would appreciate that all delegations inform the municipal office before a meeting to ensure that we can schedule you on the agenda.

Council Business

• Council is considering resolution to require a license for all drainage works
  on municipal property.  All works that ratepayers would like considered for next year would have to be applied for right now. Please contact the municipal office for more information. This will be dealt with at our December meeting.
• The Rural Municipality is pleased to announce that they are in the process of forming a new planning district and also joining a conservation district.  The Conservation district by-law was given third reading and passed. 
• The RM of South Norfolk recently received a grant to sealcoat the airstrip and work will progress over the summer.
• Additional improvements to the Rathwell water plant will also be made in the near future.
